Hi,
You can authenticate users in dnewsweb by adding the following setting -
tellnews_pass pass
Where 'pass' is the contents of your tellnews.pass file in your dnews work
area.
This will cause dnewsweb to use the same authentication rules that dnews
uses.
There is no in-built mechanism in dnewsweb to limit the number of groups a
user can subscribe to.
You can set dnews to limit the number of groups that are cached
(max_maxgroups) or reduce the 'life' setting if you are concerned with users
accessing to too many groups wasting bandwidth when updating.
