Oh dear, well that is no good, I can't see anything obviously wrong in your
config file.
First, have you cached the groups in question
tellnews cached alt.binaries.XXXXXXXX.XXXXXXXX 100
tellnews update
tellnews update2
(wait a few minutes, and examine the log file)
If that doesn't fix it then
Do this:
tellnews loglvl debug
tellnews debug suck:chan_read:chan_write:
tellnews rotate
tellnews cached
tellnews updateone alt.binaries.XXXXXXXX.XXXXXXXX
tellnews updateone alt.binaries.XXXXXXXX.XXXXXXXX
wait a minute
Then see what happens in dnews.log, if the fault does not explain
itself then send it to me and include
dnews.conf, newsfeeds.conf
tellnews status
dnews.log
dnews.in
suck.log
Also try
tellnews updateone alt.binaries.XXXXXXXX.XXXXXXXX 2
To see if the other suck feed works.
