On windows the admin tool can change it over, don't try and do it manually.
On unix, you have to do it manually, so you
stop dnews
add the slave_n setting
start dnews using dmulti_start.sh
Change your incoming news feeds to port 7500 (if you have any)
Oh and we currently recommend this setting
slave_byfile true
it improves performance and avoids a caching problem with index updates between
the master/slave. Anyone using dmulti might like to try this setting,
we'll probably
make it the default at some point.
