I just installed dnews_56e3_linux.tar.Z on a Mandrake Linux 9.0 system
running postfix-1.1.11-4mdk/imap-2001a-9mdk/squirrelmail-1.2.8-1mdk and
I'm having a little trouble getting it started.

I untarred dnews then ran ./dnews_setup.sh, ran down through all the
questions and configured it to point to postfix instead of sendmail.
But there seems to be a problem because dnews isn't working properly
even though it's running. If I run ./restart.sh I get

lib: Configuration line problem line 39 {postfix /usr/lib/postfix/smtp}
len=29 char=112 (POSTFIX)
502 You have no permission to talk {},mail.aplusdata.com Goodbye
nntp: Socket closed, errno=104
nntp_perror: socket_read failed
cp: 'dnews' and 'usr/local/dnews/dnews' are the same file
./restart.sh: line 4: dnews_start.sh: command not found

Why am I getting the permission problem with postfix? it's pointed at
smtpd....

Anyway, I ran a search on the forum and couldn't find anything close to
my problem, nor could I find anything in google. Any help would be most
appreciated.

Thanks
Anthony
