Hi,

When accessing the server through DNewsWeb, the IP address seen by DNews is
that of the Web server. You can limit access to DNews to that IP only.

E.g.

127.0.0.1:read,post:$lookup$:$lookup$:*

That should allow authenticated connections from the Web server only
(assuming it is on the same system and using 127.0.0.1 to access the DNews
server).
