Hi Rob,

Can you send us ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) the dnews.conf file? We'll check that for any obvious problems.

Thanks,

After the second auth i'll be disconnected.

suck_noauth2 true

Done, but no switching between the servers ;o(

Great, that should fix the problem. Monitor using 'tellnews stats_in' to see if the feed is being used.

No connection to the server. Stats_in don't let see the servers....They not connect. A other server I try will connect. I think the problem is in the *problem-server* himself. If I connect with my reader to the problem-server, I can see/read the groups.

If I set suck *5 for server1 and *8 for suck2, must dnews switch at this
time of server ?

The times indicate when groups will be added to the queue. If there is an existing suck going on, this must complete first.

I lost the remote access details you sent me so I can't check what
settings you have.

It isn't my server, it's someone hwo will try Dnews. I don't like bins, thats for FTP ;o)

If you want DNews to switch between groups/servers regularly, you would
want to set 'suck_requeue true', and set 'suck_batchn' to a fairly low
number. From memory the default is 100, which should be fine on a
relatively high speed connection (Compared to my personal 128k
connection where I have set this to 50).

This will I be doing later, first the suck.

Tnx, Rob
