Check the 'workarea' in dnews.conf points to the right place (where active.dat
is now stored) and check all files are owned by 'news' after the move.
Lastly check access.conf grants you read access to the groups.
If that doesn't fix it, send me
dnews.conf
ls -al (workarea)
dnews.log (just after starting it up)
