I suppose I should be a little more fair. I'm not sure about Apple, as
far as I know you can't sideload without jailbreaking. You CAN sideload
on Windows IF you want to pay for a developer/enterprise license to do
so - about $100 USD. Still, the whole concept is rather annoying to say
the least.
