Even so, fixing bugs takes time. when an ecommerce site dies, you might put up a holding page saying "PLEASE WAIT WE ARE FIXING BUGS BECAUSE OUR PRINCIPLES ABOUT HOW SOFTWARE SHOULD BE OPERATED ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN SERVING CUSTOMERS".
