Hi, As a USB drive identifier, one can use a naming scheme like the following: usb0_label0, usb1_label1, usb2_label2,... , usbN_labelN
Therefore, if N usb drives happen to have the same name, they would be renamed: usb0_unique-lable, usb1_unique-label,... , usb[N-1] Some restrictions on the unique-lable length should be put in place not to end up with very long combersome drive names.
