the 'd' would be a little annoying, but many programs use a joke in the name
The 'd' is usually added to the name of the command which runs as a daemon. The package name must not include it, eg:
ssh, sshd ntp, ntpd ftp, ftpd telnet, telnetd systemd sounds like a joke in French, but probably not in other languages. _______________________________________________ Dng mailing list [email protected] https://mailinglists.dyne.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dng
