i've pretty much the same (only i use a pre-fabricated tool, cb-exit, a
logout tool of which once was done for crunchbang, a python script btw).
Did you put the command you actually call in the (coma separated)
list, along with halt and reboot? This command should also be owned by
root and be in the secure_path as specified in /etc/sudoers.
