Hallo Klaus, 

perhaps the output of

$ apt-get --simulate --no-install-recommends install task-kde-desktop 

will narrow down the list of possibly missing candidates... OTOH, If you
think of a configuration problem rather than of a missing package, I'd
try to "dpkg-reconfigure" any possibly related packages.
