This is badly written and incomplete just now but keep an eye on it as I'm 
likely to improve it. Some knowledge of git is required to package for Devuan, 
but otherwise the packaging process is similar to debians.

An issue you may run into it is an "empty" SVN source repo on 
tracker.debian.org, but you're on your own for instructions on converting these at the 
moment.

I recommend you to begin packaging in the native source format, and using dpkg-buildpackage. As an exercise, you can download the sources of simple-netaid:

The source format is located in debian/source/format. Maybe i'll write a guide about how to package in devuan/debian in the future. In any case, it'll not be in the short term...
