I've been having some problems with windows locking up when running:

xserver-xorg-core 2:1.19.0-2.0nosystemd1

from angband.pl

There is a fix at:

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=%23847025#25

that sounds like it would help.

Can the xserver-xorg*nosystemd packages be rebuilt with this fix soon
please?

Sure, updated.

Untested, though, and sorry for the delay -- I need nvidia-legacy-340 for my
card and that hasn't been updated for X 1.19 yet; let's hope it will be
updated at all.

Yay proprietary drivers and planned obsolescence, and nouveau crashing or
breaking programs. I'm getting fed up with this x86 shit, let's move to
some other architecture like arm. Oh wait, everything there has Mali400...

Thanks for the build! It seems that Debian bug 846779 is a problem still waiting for a fix, it was suggested to me (using Radeon CEDAR) to set:

Option "AccelMethod" "glamor"
Option "DRI" "3"

Arthur.
