Dear D1rs, just to let you know that, as announced a few days ago, the new amprolla3 *solves* the old bug in apt-file due to the lack of merged Contents.gz files. In particular, we are talking of the following:
http://bugs.devuan.org/17 http://bugs.devuan.org/34 http://bugs.devuan.org/105 This means that if you use pkgmaster.devuan.org in your /etc/apt/sources.list, or any of the package mirrors we will setup in the next few days, you will be able to do something like: $ apt-file search /bin/ash ash: /bin/ash $ We will now proceed to finally close those old bugs.
