No, this is not a firmware problem. Thanks for your answer, but i wrote that the modem is present in the system! I forgot to say that "modem-manager.gui" can full handle the modem, Sending SMS, Showing Provider, Speed, Location and so on. Only "network-manager" ignores the Modem, i think this is a ugly bug in devuan jessie!!! Also in the classic Slackware worked the modem with the network-manager, ans Slacky is very very spartan!
