IBM doesn't care about open source,
Therefore it means IBM doesn't care anymore in PowerPc arch ...
That's what I fear, actually.
this is just ads/spam, like the "M$
loves linux" crap, etc..
Who speaks of love?
M$ was seeing Linux as a competitor and it realized it won't be ever.
On the other hand, IBM's buziness is to sale computers and chips,
not an OS, and it has been supporting linux for long, because it helps
saling computers.

Good to know for ppc afficionados. Not sure what the meaning is
though, beyond the fact IBM renounces to make money from ppc arch.
At least it makes it possible to demonstrate the absence of hidden
cpus in the ppc chips.
