Locally as root open a terminal and type: adduser joe If you want a system to manage users for allowing them access to all boxes there are some but I don't use them e.g: openldap. Going without passwords will be even a greater pain, and at least in Europe a no-go if you process any sensible customer's or worker's data. > > 3.
