The order of returned records is undefined in the DNS. On top of
that there is no good place to sort records. There are pro's and
con's for every place in the resolution chain and what is "right"
/ "best" can can vary even for the same application on the machine.
authoritative server
recursive server
stub resolver
application
I can make arguments for and against every one of these as the place
to sort answers.
