Yes, its face is 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 while background working servers are recursors. It is also right that there authority. I am just confused that how you made sure that you got NOERROR from Dallas, Texas and Stockholm, Sweden. :-) Best wishes!

And since they are recursive servers, there are no 'hidden master' servers anywhere either.
