So I was thinking about registering to get a RIPE ATLAS probe, and went to do
some further reading while mobile, connected over EVDO. Page wouldn't load,
waitasec, DNS failure? Really? Yup:

Okay, obvious workaround, try 4.2.2.1 or 8.8.8.8 for a minute, but nope, it
looks like Sprint's intercepting those. Same failure. But when I fire up my VPN
and bring my traffic out another provider, I can resolve it:
> ripe.net 8.8.8.8Server: [8.8.8.8]Address: 8.8.8.8Non-authoritative
> answer:Name: ripe.netAddresses: 2001:67c:2e8:22::c100:68b
> 193.0.6.139
Curiously, this is the only name I've found myself unable to resolve while on
Sprint. It seems a quizzical omission, to say the least.
