This might be optimised for gigabits of web traffic, but the not for the quick query/responses DNS has. Even with the current Linux UDP stack it is possible to run a DNS server that answers more than a million requests in a second. You just can't do that with TCP. So as said we agree that the Community should put more effort in getting the Linux people to do better UDP stack instead of switching DNS to TCP, which other people have been suggesting.
