I would think that all the focus on middleboxes in the IETF and the IAB,
that most middlebox behavior has been identified.
Mark Andrews has done an impressive job document (poor) EDNS compliance
http://users.isc.org/~marka/ts.html - I think such a task around
middleboxes would be useful
