Dear DPRIVE, We have just started the WGLC for draft-ietf-dprive-dnsodtls. There have been a significant number of changes and revisions to this document, please take some time to review it and provide clear feedback to the authors and WG.
We will be focusing on the “profiles” document after the DNSoDTLS document wraps up. We still feel that it is premature to recharter for “phase 2”, but would very much like to encourage discussions on the list of how me might begin to address the recursive to auth part of this. Stephane has some interesting initial thoughts here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-bortzmeyer-dprive-step-2/ - it is an easy read, please take some time to read and thing about it. At the moment we are expecting to meet in Seoul, partly to discuss the Profiles document, but also as a “BoF style” discussion on the Phase 2 work. Thoughts? Views? etc. Warren and Tim. -- I don't think the execution is relevant when it was obviously a bad idea in the first place. This is like putting rabid weasels in your pants, and later expressing regret at having chosen those particular rabid weasels and that pair of pants. ---maf _______________________________________________ dns-privacy mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/dns-privacy
