depends what you're looking for.  If it's the simplest and fewest words,
then you will probably want:

The main thing is that the wording should not be ambiguous.

If you're going to go ahead with the other version, a decision needs to be
made about how to decide who gets to resign. Again, the mechanism should be
non-ambiguous. Drawing lots is one mechanism, but there are many others.
