Hi,

I am trying to configure the snmpAgent in dnsdist and get the following log
message.

NET SNMP support is required to use snmpAgent()

I am running dnsdist 1.4.0-rc5. I assume that NET SNMP support is not
provided in this release. What do I need to do to get NET SNMP support?
I believe on some platforms net-snmp is incompatible with the modern
libssl that dnsdist needs. If you are on such a platform, you'll
need to upgrade the OS first.

Hi,

Yes, there is this compatibility issue in Debian Stretch (9.x). Nevertheless I can confirm that on Debian Buster (10.x) are dnsdist and snmpd working fine together.
