Right.  That's all I meant.  I don't think we need to get people who
are using v4 off v4.  But there will be people for whom v6 will surely
become a more economic option (since as v4 addresses become scarcer,
people who have v4 addresses might find it worth moving to v6 because
the resource is more plentiful).

The point I was trying to make was that, since dual-stack is likely to
be around for a while, with growth on the v6 side, it seems like the
wrong time to break a perfectly good feature (DNS answers on v4 for a
possible v6 connection).  There's something else we ought to be able
to do.
