Or we could just say that mapped IPv4 addresses MUST be published in AAAA records and that A records are no longer required to be published after January 1, 2028 (now + ~10 years). Additionally that master nameservers and signers MUST synthesis mapped AAAA record if there are A records at the name but no associated AAAA record.
