A rather belated update of the draft based on comments received during the WGLC:

* Addition of a short paragraph clarifying that the underlying protocol has not 
changed, only the checking semantics (thanks to Bert Hubert for the suggestion).
* Correction of typos.
* Some minor changes to wording.
