I think we could have an interesting research project describing the
various levels at which one can switch out from DNS to something else,
e.g. application sockets like .ONION, pseudo A/AAAA RRs like mDNS,
real RRs like split horizon DNS.  But that doesn't have much to do
with the issue at hand.
