Dear WG,
The chairs have been reviewing the expired drafts that were adopted by
DNSOP at some point. Here is a brief summary of their status and next
steps.
* draft-ietf-dnsop-dnssec-automation
- The draft is stable and WG feedback has been received and
incorporated. Two directorate reviews have also been answered by the
authors.
- Authors have been asked to update the draft for WGLC. A new version
is expected to be submitted in the next month, ready for WGLC.
* draft-ietf-dnsop-delegation-only
- In 2021, there was a poll on the DNSOP WG mailing list to drop the
draft. Rough consensus to drop the document was established on 24
August 2021.
- We marked the draft as Dead in the datatracker.
* draft-ietf-dnsop-update-timeout
- Authors have indicated they cannot spend time on the draft, and the
document has been parked since July 2021.
- We mark this as Dead in the datatracker unless we hear otherwise.
* draft-ietf-dnsop-rfc2317bis
- No activity in the DNSOP WG and from the author, so we will drop the
draft unless we hear otherwise.
We will allow the working group two weeks to respond to each of these
comments.
