Dear authors and DNSOP WG, During the IETF Last Call on draft-ietf-dnsop-structured-dns-error, this document has received many comments not supporting its publication even with last-minutes changes.
As the responsible AD, I do not see an IETF consensus on progressing this I-D. Therefore, I am sending back this draft to the DNSOP WG. The authors were diligent and have already requested a slot to discuss this draft at IETF-123 in Madrid in July 2025. Regards -éric as the responsible AD for this I-D PS: this may also be an opportunity to merge with draft-nottingham-public-resolver-errors *IF* the DNSOP WG agrees of course. PS2: I would also suggest to discuss this document with the actual consumers of the extra-data, the browser community (partly in IETF HTTPBIS but also W3C).
