Dear WG,
The feedback received during the Working Group Last Call (WGLC) for
ns-revalidatie indicates that the document is not yet ready for
submission to the IESG for publication. The feedback raised some
concerns about where ns-revalidation would be (additionally) useful,
acknowledging the increased number of queries involved (particularly for
glue revalidation), and clarifying the optional nature of this mechanism.
There was also positive feedback, both in the WGLC email thread and in
earlier discussions, which supported the progress of the document.
To address the WGLC feedback, the authors will revise some normative
language in the document and clarify the scope of revalidation, and
where the benefits are greatest.
With these updates and the publication of a new revision, the authors
hope to reach consensus in the next WGLC.
Best regards,
