Dear WG,
This revision only contains minor editorial changes from WGLC (see diff link
below). No open to-dos remain, so that the authors hope the document can take
the next step in the process.
FWIW, I've also updated the abstract, which I realize was a little too
"abstract" (it did not list the topic areas for which guidance is given in the
document). For completeness, here's the change:
OLD:
Enabling support for automatic acceptance of DS parameters from the
Child DNS operator (via RFCs 7344, 8078, 9615) requires the parent
operator, often a registry or registrar, to make a number of
technical decisions. This document describes recommendations for new
deployments of such DS automation.
NEW:
Enabling support for automatic acceptance of DS parameters from the
Child DNS operator (via RFCs 7344, 8078, 9615) requires the parental
agent, often a registry or registrar, to make a number of technical
decisions around acceptance checks, error and sucess reporting, and
multi-party issues such as concurrent updates. This document
describes how these points are best addressed in practice.
I assume the RFC Editor will wordsmith this as needed.
Best,
Peter + Steve
