While watching different sessions at IETF126, it occurred to me that our
draft-axu-dnsop-catalog-zone-xfr-properties should probably have a
section on how many implementations of it already exist? Non?
We set out to document the extensions that Bind9 already had, so that it
would be possible to have conformant implementations in other
implementations as well. That would set a guaranteed lower bound of one
implementation. Unfortunately we got greedy, and devised a bunch of new
stuff as well, that Bind9 doesn't implement yet...
But ... how many other implementations out there already implement some
part of our draft?
