You have been subscribed to a public bug: Using most recent Gnome Do from PPA (0.5.0.1, I think it is) on Ubuntu 8.04 32-bit version. I have a twitter account with non-public updates.
To replicate this bug: (1) Open Gnome Do (2) Open the preferences (3) Switch to the Plugins tab (4) Enable the Twitter plugin using the checkbox (5) Select the Twitter pluging and click "Configure" (6) Enter in user name (not e-mail) and password. (7) Click "Apply". Under the password box, the text says "Account validation succeeded!" (8) Close the Twitter Configuration window by clicking "Close" (9) Close the GNOME Do Preferences window by clicking "Close" (10) Bring up Gnome Do and use the tweet plugin either by "Tweet" <tab> [message] <enter> or [message] <tab> "Tweet" <enter> The notification window reports: "Missing Login Credentials Please set login information in plugin configuration" No gconf key is created, either. Tweets work in other programs including gTwitter. Expected behavior: gconf key gets created Tweet actually posts Other approaches taken: Removal of plugins directory to redownload plugins Reinstall of gnome-do-plugins in Synaptic Package Manager Replacement of official Twitter dll file with one downloaded from http://jacobandreas.net/2008/gnome-do-twitter-plugin Restart of GNOME Do ** Affects: do-plugins Importance: Low Assignee: Alex Launi (alexlauni) Status: New -- Twitter plugin reports "Missing Login Credentials" even when they're set https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241208 You received this bug notification because you are a member of GNOME Do Plugins Team, which is subscribed to GNOME Do Plugins. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~do-plugins Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/people/+me/+editemails More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
