Do updates the indexed data and stuff from plugins with a interval of
several minutes. So after you start Do or resume the network connection,
it could be possible that you have to wait for a little while before the
next round update. When you open the "Preferences" dialog, it actually
forces Do to update the data, that's why you can use the List Name
directly afterwards.
Please report if the plugin behaves normally several minutes after you
enable the network connection / start Do.
