Which text input fields? If you're talking about the pidgin window that pops up not having focus, that's a pidgin bug. Take a look here at this bug: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/do-plugins/+bug/343536 I've filed a bug with the pidgin people and a link to their bug tracker is on that page.
