About the media files, I think that the sections "Importing Documents"
and "Adding Media Files" of the guide explain something about them.
Also, on the Download section on the left side, there is a link about
downloading media files as well.

I don't understand why you need to know where this path conversion
is made, but if you are still curious about it, it should be at the
implode styleshet: xsl_transform/implode/implode.xsl . There is the
parameter 'path' that helps for it.
