I am not asking to be a maintainer in place of Mr. Zawawi. I am not asking for my name to be published somewhere. I am just telling you I would be actively involved in the translation and it's because I will have enough time it's better for you (not for me) to let me do all the hassle (not the good things). I am sending this a week before our intended time of starting the translation just to give time for your ecosystem to think about it. > What does this mean? He told me he prefer and this a big difference). We reserve ourself the freedom to register individually through arabeyes site or not. Hey! come on, if some one wants to translate something with his brothers, friends, collegues, company,... he shouldn't be _forced_ to _force_ them to register individually. Another Hey! Ahmed Al-rashideen, please let your children register on arabeyes site so we can track which word your elder son has translated and praise/blame him for this. > That they do all the work is for sure not the problem ;) the problem is > how will they do it? I have just checked out the kde repository from the main KDE site, I will send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with my encrypted password to get a cvs account. I am sure he won't ask me whether I will translate it alone or with others. In case he refers me to your site I will explain to him the whole story and sure he won't mind giving one more account to a group that will finish KDE translation in matter of days. > BTW, don't send me emails, officially I am not here... To the core team To Elzubair, Nadim, ... In case you don't agree with the way this message addressed the issues, please comment and clarify things so I know whether this a personal remark from Arafat or your official/policy attitude. I still care to do it through Arabeyes in case I find help and advice from them. Otherwise, as mentioned previously, it's better for us to do it directly. Just do me one favor, try to reply to this message today so I have time to manage it. -- Munzir Taha PGP Key available gpg --recv-keys --keyserver www.mandrakesecure.net F0671821 Telecommunications and Electronics Engineer Linux Registered User #279362 at http://counter.li.org Mandrake Club member Maintainer of the Open Arabic Bugs Project at http://wiki.arabeyes.org/OpenBugs CIW Designer, ICDL, MOUS New Horizons CLC Riyadh, SA _______________________________________________ Doc mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.arabeyes.org/mailman/listinfo/doc
