How are OOo's po files being built? does OOo use them natively?
.po indexes strings by themselves, so in reality, a .po file should only have one entry for each string. Unless they are being compiled from some other format. Djihed On 23/02/07, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I noticed that there is a huge amount of duplicated strings in the PO files, some strings are repeated 3,4 or 5 times (and some times more) in the same PO. If we can get ride of this, I think the number of untranslated strings will decline significantly. -- Khaled Hosny Egyptian GNU/Linux user Member of Arabeyes translation team [www.arabeyes.org] My Blog: [khalid_hosny.manalaa.net] Support Free Knowledge [ar.wikipedia.org] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFF3tdcRoqITGOuyPIRAoNNAJ4qwGz2/PdieW3ab7rhPBvrpwovFwCbBUB+ 6TAlJDrYVEAq9XRSyz8Junw= =tgub -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Doc mailing list [email protected] http://lists.arabeyes.org/mailman/listinfo/doc
