I think a new good website can help in getting more people to pay attention to the projects, especially when we could put some tutorial videos for beginners, which could encourage people to contribute. I've a free web space and I built some websites using Drupal (a CMS that make it easy to edit, add and modify contents with almost zero HTML knowledge). I can start making the website and take suggestions till you approve it and then we can refer people to the new one (redirect the domain name).
