G'Day Eric, Just read your how-to. That script will make all my hard work undone! Anyway - is the 1080 port locked off from external users? I know that the newer version of 3dmd allows setting of a password - but can we also get e-smith to block it off entirely to outside Ethernet connections? Maybe chose a port that is unused by default by any of the apps on e-smith and set 3dmd to use that? Say if e-smith blocks all ports below 1023 unless explicitly allowed in (Say mail, smtp, web, etc) and put 3dmd on one of those?
