I was wondering if the Doc Mailing list has talked about adding a "User Contributed Notes:" area to the on-line Manual. I have been learning PHP and been reading the www.php.net on-line manual for php and enjoy the User Contributed Notes at the end of every section. For a random example See: http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php This User Contributed Notes is were users reading the manual can add examples, corrections and clarifications to the session they were reading. PHP.NET makes it very clear the the User Notes are only available in the on-line HTTP (multiple page) manual, but not in their PDF version. I think this could help E-smith by doing something very similar. Plus it should be able to help the E-smith people updating their manual when the next release comes out.
