Hi,
I think it might be worthwhile sending this to the whole group:
I'm thinking of doing some work on the 4.0 documentation, but I'm a bit
worried that whatever I do might end up being buried beneath the weight
of revisions. Or, to put in different terms, if I were to create, say,
two or three pages of documentation, how likely is it that there will be
enough other work done on 4.0 that my pages will ever end up being
published, rather than skipped in favor of 4.1 or 5.0?
Also is there value in considering porting the new version to Confluence?

Greetings David;
First of all let me apologize for taking so long to reply to this. I had
started to and then got distracted and never finished. Just realized
that I had never gotten back to it.
I really have no good answer to your question at this time except to say
that the more volunteers we get to help write, edit, and verify the
pages to the software the faster they can be released.
As far as converting them to Confluence I do not see a lot of value in
that. From my limited usage of both I do not see much difference. The
other piece is that many of our volunteers are more familiar with
Media-wiki than confluence.
All that being said I would urge you to contribute as a writer for the
Draw guide or as an editor For the already contributed work.
Regards
Keith
