Further investigation shows that pdfjadetex writes a file "example.out"
for all the bookmarks, like:
\BOOKMARK [1][]{0.1.1}{}{}
\BOOKMARK [0][]{1.0}{Table of Contents}{}
\BOOKMARK [0][]{2.0}{Chapter 1. ch 01}{}
I'd expect the first line to hold the text of the bookinfo/title tag
(similar to chapter/title, which works OK).
If I insert the text by hand and run pdfjadetex again, I get the
bookinfo/title text in the bookmarks - though in example.out again
I can't find it (because it's rewritten)
Maybe Sebastian can shed some light on this...
