I'm not sure this is what you're asking for, but I have a nit to pick
on chapter and section numbers. Sections get numbered, for example,
3., 3.1., 3.1.5., etc. I think it looks more natural to have
3, 3.1, 3.3.5, etc., i.e. no trailing punctuation. Is there a flag to
do this in the current sylesheets, or is there an easy customization?
