Hello, I am a technical writer trying to get a docbook publishing system on my
PowerBook running MacOS X 10.1. I'm having great success, but I am stuck on the
following error:

/sw/bin/openjade:/usr/local/share/sgml/dtd/docbook/4.1.2/ent/iso-lat1.ent:6:19:E:
"X00E1" is not a function name

When I use openjade to generate html from a xml docbook file, I get hundreds of these
errors.

I found phillip shelton's thread from november 2000
(http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/docbook-apps/200011/msg00126.html) about fixing
this problem, but I haven't been able to discern what he did exactly to fix the
problem. are the error messages just something I have to live with, or is there a way
to get them to dissapear? they don't seem to prevent openjade from producing the html
files.

thanks for your help,

s
