DOCBOOK-APPS: Vector graphics within PDFs

Thanks everyone, everything is fine now.

• epstopdf works flawlessly.
• convert (from ImageMagick 5.2.3) doesn't seem to output a valid PDF stream, my Acrobat Reader complains about a missing %PDF header tag.
